Mr. Trebek goes to Washington

Newsmakers get over the pain of not having a category named in their honor by participating in "Jeopardy!'s" "Power Players Week." NBC's Chuck Todd, CNN's S.E. Cupp and author Jonathan Franzen do battle in the opener, a mere warmup to the main event: Thursday's appearance of Sen. Al Franken, D-Minn. He's there to raise money for USO and raise the spirits of Stuart Smalley.

Happily ever after

Go ahead and sign up Melissa McCarthy for the next three "Ghostbusters" movies. Her schedule just cleared up. "Mike & Molly," the sitcom that never fully served its talented star, bids good night after six seasons with a one-hour episode in which it's finally revealed whether McCarthy was playing Mike or Molly.

Something wicked this way goes

The governor may have been celebrating Minnesota's fishing opener over the weekenf, but the captains are pulling back their nets in the Season 5 finale of "Wicked Tuna." The one-hour episode is followed by a "Reel Talk Live," in which the participants reveal behind-the-scenes details, answer fan questions and recommend the perfect wine to go with pan-fried trout.
