Man with a plan

Nathan Fielder may be TV's most committed comic. Either that, or he needs to be committed. His series, "Nathan for You," which returns for a second season, has him offering to help small businesses with marketing tactics that are attention grabbing, bizarre and sometimes downright illegal. In the season premiere, Fielder tries to help an auto repairman by hooking him up to a lie detector when consulting with clients. Next, he attempts to put a real estate agent on the map by billing her as the area's first "ghost Realtor." Fielder plays all of this straight down the line, never once winking to the camera. It's a unique, creative approach, one that deserves your attention — even if he is nuts. 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, Comedy Central

Solid as a Rock

Remember when Chris Rock used to host everything — and you didn't mind one bit? Then you'll be thrilled to know that he's emceeing "The BET Awards 2014" with musical performances from Nicki Minaj, John Legend, Jhene Aiko and August Alsina. 7 p.m. Sunday, BET

Serenity now!

Celebrate the 25th anniversary of "Seinfeld" by watching — what else? — the 25 most critically acclaimed episodes, starting with the one in which Jerry makes the mistake of keeping a pen. The countdown will take place in two-hour chunks for the next six nights, culminating in a Saturday night feast featuring the best of the best. 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, TBS

Dance fever

Minnesota ballerina Jourdan Epstein has made the Top 20 in "So You Think You Can Dance," a cast that will perform on the series' 200th episode and the first live show of the season. Finalists will be paired with a partner performing in their own styles, which, in my case, would be the jitterbug. Eliminations start next week. 7 p.m. KMSP, Ch. 9
