A winning team

It may seem like sports-talk radio is as old as baseball, but the format as we know it really originated in the late '80s with the teaming of Mike Francesa and Chris Russo on WFAN in New York. Their shotgun marriage and eventual divorce is thoroughly examined in "Mike and the Mad Dog" with both figures offering honest assessments — or at least as honest as their sizable egos will let them be.

Jokers' wild

Fans of the Tenderloins had to be disappointed when the comedy troupe postponed its appearance at Treasure Island Casino earlier this month because of plane problems. But ticket holders can at least enjoy the return of their series, "Impractical Jokers," in which the four players continue to bully each other into acting like fools.

In search of

Treasure hunting has never been as sexy as it is in "Hooten & the Lady," a British series making its stateside debut. Adventures include searching for the Buddha's scroll in the Himalayans to hunting for the 51st Faberge egg in Siberia.
