RALEIGH, N.C. — There's a new look for people seeking information online from the North Carolina Division of Tourism.

For the first time since 2009, the division has upgraded its digital profile with a new website for consumer travel planning. The new design for VisitNC.com is intended to make travel planning easier and more interactive.

The division opens the website launch with the "Beauty Amplified Photo Sweepstakes," which offers visitors a chance to win three trips. Consumers can go to visitnc.com/beauty-amplified to enter and find additional details.

The website is also designed to be used on devices ranging from mobile phones to televisions enabled for web access.

In just four years, mobile traffic on VisitNC.com has grown from 1.3 percent to 33 percent.
