Newsweek.com is out with its ranking of the top public high schools in the nation, and several from Minnesota made the list of 1,358.
The rankings are based on the number of advanced placement, International Baccalaureate and/or Cambridge tests taken by all students at a school in 2007 divided by the number of graduating seniors.
All schools that made the list are in the top five percent of public schools measured this way.
Leading the way in Minnesota is Edina, coming in 91st. Next were St. Louis Park at 204th and Minneapolis Southwest at 210th.
