Once Upon a Crime bookstore, the little garden-level bookshop in Minneapolis, will be pleasantly crammed on April 2 when it holds its ninth annual gathering of mystery writers. The Write of Spring will bring a dozen writers every hour to the store from noon until 4 p.m., and likely many hundreds of fans.

Writers include Mary Logue, Laura Childs, Julie Kramer, David Housewright, Rick Shefchik, Steve Thayer and Michael Allan Mallory. They'll chat with customers and autograph books. A full list of authors is at the store's website, here.

Once Upon a Crime is at 604 W. 26th St., Minneapolis.
