When asked Thursday about his team's upset loss to Minnesota in December, Louisville coach Rick Pitino didn't hesitate to blame his team's traveling problems. Louisville basically traveled all night and arrived at 7 a.m. the day before the game. Immediately after that game, however, Pitino focused more on his team's poor play than anything else. Interesting.

Somehow, Arizona has beaten Washington and UCLA, both ranked teams, during a seven-game winning streak, and still hasn't cracked the Associated Press' Top 25.

Earlier this week, Connecticut coach Jim Calhoun called 7-3 Hasheem Thabeet the "most dominant force" in college basketball. If that's so, is Pitt's 6-7 DeJuan Blair (22 points and 23 rebounds against UConn on Monday) Superman?
