Just this August 2nd my mother passed away.

She was sick for a while. She was in pain for years. My mom was on dialysis and her blood pressure dropped really low and they couldn't get it back up. She was in the hospital and the doctor told us that there's nothing they can do to make her blood pressure go up and with her blood pressure that low they cannot do dialysis.

So they asked her if she wanted to stay in the hospital or if she wanted to go home and be put in hospice. She chose to go home and be put in hospice. The doctor said she had 1-3 weeks and she passed away after just three days of being home.

My mother had been telling me for quite some time that she was ready to go back home and not in pain anymore but we all still miss her and this Christmas Eve is going to be the hardest.

It is my daughter's birthday and my daughter was born on my mother's birthday, which is Christmas Eve and this is going to be the first birthday that they share with my mom no longer here with us.

My 7-year-old daughter is having a hard time not having her grandmother here so they can share their birthday together.

We all miss you very much Mom. We will never forget you. You are always in our heart.
