We lost our very good friend Bruce Vandersall in October. He was one of my best friends and there are scores of people who could say the same thing. Bruce was a good friend to everyone. He also bled maroon and gold. He was a coach for the Gophers football team and his son was a member of the baseball team and daughter a member of the gymnastics team. I don't know anyone who met Bruce wasn't immediately a friend of his. He was a fun guy and always showed interest in everyone he talked to. I miss him dearly and hurt for his family on this, the first Christmas without him. God bless my friend, Bruce.
