Hello Bass Fishing Enthusiasts!

Thanks for taking the time to check out my new blog postings.
My name is Kent Mittelstaedt and I am a bass tournament angler here in the beautiful state of Minnesota. I currently fish in a club called the "Viking Bassmasters of Minnesota" which is an established fishing club with a long tournament history dating back to 1976. I also serve as a board member for the Minnesota B.A.S.S. Federation as the Assistant Treasurer (soon to be Treasurer in January 2010). I compete in club tournaments with viking and I also compete in a night league with a group of anglers that have small competitions on metro area lakes bi-weekly. As the years go by and as my skills and my sponsorship evolve I am opening myself to more and more tournament exposure.

I plan to post weekly on topics such as: product demonstrations, tournament recaps, success stories, conservation projects etc.

Please check back often to read the latest on Minnesota bass fishing information.

As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
