My father, my hero

December 28, 2012 at 7:48PM

My father was born on 1/23/50 and passed away 12/6/12. During his 62 years in Minnesota he helped thousands of people and their families overcome addiction and begin the road to recovery.

He would drive all over the state in all types of weather to meet with families and participate in interventions to help them help their loved ones.

My father loved his job and helping people every day. He was a wonderful man who would do anything to help other.

Growing up it was hard to understand why Dad was always late or why he had to be gone on holidays. I now understand that his time was so important and he impacted so many lives. For each individual he saved there were family members, co-workers, friends, and many other affected as well. I hope you will consider honoring my amazing father.
