We must take small victories in the midst of a 7-21 season. As such, we present some pretty awesome facial hair sported in last night's loss to the Angels by both Ryan Doumit and Jamey Carroll. The case for Doumit: It's a little understated, but it gets the job done. That little downward arc, hinting at the start of a Fu Manchu 'stache, is playful yet refined.
The case for Carroll: Wow, we really didn't know Jamey had that kind of 'stache in him. That's a look normally reserved for a day laborer -- maybe, in a pinch, a corner outfielder or set-up man.
