Cue cards are so 1967. For their new music video, Twin Cities rapper MaLLy and producer the Sundance Kid pay a small tribute to Bob Dylan's classic clip from the documentary "Don't Look Back." Dylan famously opened the film holding and then discarding a series of cue cards that referenced the lyrics in "Subterranean Homesick Blues."

For MaLLy's song, "Heir Time," the rising star ditches the cue cards for an iPad -- swiping his chosen words across the screen. The video, directed by Victor Rukavina, features a big guest star who just kinda hangs out in the background (it's Slug from Atmosphere). Many local hip-hop fans have named MaLLy the Twin Cities' next big thing, and for good reason. He's an incredible lyricist and has a great ear for soulful beats. Watch "Heir Time" here:
