Everest (PG-13) Jake Gyllenhaal, Josh Brolin and Keira Knightley star in the true story of an ill-fated expedition up the mountain.

Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials (PG-13) After escaping the Maze, the Gladers now face a new set of challenges on the open roads of a desolate landscape.

Pawn Sacrifice (PG-13) Tobey Maguire is legendary chess champion Bobby Fischer. With Liev Schreiber as Boris Spassky.

Rosenwald (not rated) A documentary about Sears, Roebuck executive and philanthropist Julius Rosenwald, who funded schools for African-Americans in the South, among other charitable works.

Sleeping With Other People (R) A good-natured womanizer (Jason Sudeikis) and a serial cheater (Alison Brie) form a relationship that's platonic until the inevitable occurs.
