Bad Words (R) Jason Bateman directs and stars in this black comedy about a man who finds a spelling bee loophole, allowing him to enter.

Divergent (PG-13) In a world divided by factions based on virtues, Tris (Shailene Woodley) learns she's "divergent," and won't fit in.

Enemy (R) A man (Jake Gyllenhaal) seeks out his exact look-alike after spotting him in a movie.

Muppets Most Wanted (PG) While on a grand world tour, the Muppets find themselves in a European jewel-heist caper. With Tina Fey and Ricky Gervais.

Nymphomaniac: Volume 1 (not rated) A woman (Charlotte Gainsbourg) recounts the erotic story of her adolescence in the first of two films from provocateur Lars von Trier.

Particle Fever (not rated) A front-row seat to scientific inspirations throughout the ages.

Le Week-End (R) A sixtyish couple (Jim Broadbent and Lindsay Duncan) travel to Paris to try to recapture the romance of their honeymoon.
