"Tyler Perry's Temptation" is not a new fragrance but the latest from T.P.'s ever-cranking film factory. According to the official plot summary, "a marriage counselor's personal and professional life becomes complicated after she enters into a relationship with one of her clients." Well, certainly. You'd think they would cover that on the first day of class. Expect a suave rich guy luring a good beautiful woman off the straight and narrow because her nice, square husband forgets her birthday. Those are all the tea leaves we can read; as is T.P.'s practice, he didn't show this film to the press. Jurnee Smollett-Bell and Lance Gross star, with Kim Kardashian, because if Honey Boo Boo can have a TV show, Kim Kardashian can be a movie actress. It's rated PG-13 for some violence, sexuality and drug content. We'll post a review at startribune.com/movies as soon as one surfaces.
