Motorcyclist who died in Wis. crash was man from Blaine

A Twin Cities motorcyclist hit a guardrail in western Wisconsin and died, authorities said Monday.

The crash occurred about 1 p.m. Sunday on Hwy. 35 near 480th Avenue near Prescott, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol.

The motorcyclist, 46-year-old Troy P. Schroeder, of Blaine, was wearing a helmet, the patrol said.
