Motorcyclist killed when she rear-ends truckA pickup truck that slowed down for turkeys in the road was rear-ended by a motorcycle on Sunday night, throwing the motorcyclist to her death southwest of the Twin Cities, authorities said.
The crash happened about 6:20 p.m. Sunday on northbound Hwy. 13, 7 miles south of Montgomery, according to the State Patrol.
Dead at the scene was Toni M. Huber, 26, of New Prague. The patrol said she was not wearing a helmet.
The pickup driver, Dwight N. Holmbo, 64, of New Prague, and his wife, Kathleen M. Holmbo, 62, were not injured.
