A motorcyclist who died in a crash over the weekend was identified Sunday as a Washington County man.

Bradley D. Wacholz, 61, of Scandia, was riding on Olinda Trail, about four miles south of Lindstrom, when he crashed Saturday afternoon, according to the Chisago County Sheriff's Office.

Emergency responders attempted cardiopulmonary resuscitation, but Wacholz was declared dead roughly nine miles northeast of his home.

Authorities have not said whether Wacholz was wearing a helmet.
