In a news release Monday, the Anoka County Sheriff's Office said:

The truck was going west on Fawn Lake Drive and made a left-hand turn onto Julliard Street. The motorcycle was heading east on Fawn Lake Drive and struck the front of the truck as the truck turned in front of the vehicle.

The motorcyclist, a 30-year-old man from Linwood, was pronounced dead at the scene. The truck driver, a 56-year-old Stacy man, was not injured. The identities of the two men had not been released as of Monday afternoon.
