A motorcyclist crashed on a western Wisconsin road and died early Sunday, authorities said.
The wreck occurred about 12:45 a.m. on eastbound Hwy. 35/64 in Somerset, according to the St. Croix County Sheriff's Office.
Killed was Jason T. Anderson, 39, of Somerset.
The sheriff's office said it believes that alcohol played a role in the crash and that Anderson was not wearing a helmet.
Anderson lost control of his motorcycle as he was leaving the highway at the Somerset exit, the Sheriff's Office said. His motorcycle went into the ditch.
