Motorcyclist dies in collision on Hwy. 169

A 51-year-old Jordan man was killed in the crash at southbound Hwy. 169 and 150th Street W. in Louisville Township.

A Jordan, Minn., man was killed when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a car Tuesday in Scott County.

Randy M. Darling, 51, was killed shortly before 4 p.m. in the crash at southbound Hwy. 169 and 150th Street W. in Louisville Township.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol: Darling was riding a 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle southbound in the right lane of the highway. A GMC Sierra driven by Barret D. Klocow entered the intersection at 150th Street W., and the two vehicles collided.

Klocow, 29, of New Prague, suffered noncritical injuries.

Alcohol did not appear to be an issue for either driver, the patrol said. Darling was not wearing a helmet at the time.
