A central Minnesota motorcyclist who collided with a teenager on a motorized dirt bike west of the Twin Cities has died after being hospitalized for nearly three weeks, authorities said.

Raymond Lang, 50, of Spicer, died Wednesday from injuries suffered in the crash on Sept. 17 north of Litchfield on County Road 31 in Harvey Township, according to the Meeker County Sheriff's Office. The girl on the dirt bike, 15-year-old Courtney Ham of rural Litchfield, survived her injuries.

Lang was not wearing a helmet, and Ham did have her helmet on, the Sheriff's Office said.

Ham was heading south on County Road 31, accompanied by another girl riding along on an ATV, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Both girls stopped to turn left into a residential drive, and Lang collided with Ham when he "attempted to pass on their left," a statement from the Sheriff's Office read.

Along with his wife, Kristi, Lang is survived by six children.
