Authorities have identified the 51-year-old man who died Saturday night in a motorcycle crash in Chisago County.
Jay Carl Tromburg, of Center City, Minn., lost control of his cycle in Taylors Falls and left the road. He was dead at the scene.
Tromburg was the second person to die in a motorcycle crash in Minnesota this weekend.
On Friday night, Ann M. Murphy, 51, of Racine, Wis., was riding behind her husband, Michael J. Murphy, 52, when he pulled their cycle over on the northbound shoulder of Hwy. 371 near Brainerd, intending to cross the median, then pulled out in front of a car driven by Carolyn Herzog, 69, of Pequot Lakes, according to the State Patrol.
Ann Murphy died at the scene. Her husband was taken to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale with critical injuries. Herzog was not injured.
