Motorcycle crash proves fatal 6 days later for 57-year-old Twin Cities woman

Janice Theisen braked hard and lost control of her motorcycle, the patrol said.

A Twin Cities woman who crashed while riding in a group of motorcyclists in Wright County has died nearly a week later, authorities said.

Janice K. Theisen, 57, of White Bear Lake, died Friday afternoon at Hennepin County Medical Center, six days after the crash on Hwy. 25 south of Buffalo.

Theisen was riding north in a large group of motorcyclists that began slowing down, the State Patrol said. Theisen braked hard and lost control of her motorcycle, the patrol added. She was not wearing helmet, according to the patrol.
