Madden NFL 19 released its individual player rankings Tuesday, and with five players rated a 90 overall or better (99 is the best possible ranking), the Vikings tied for having the third most in the NFL.

They were surpassed by the Eagles (nine) and Cowboys (six) and tied with the Seahawks, Falcons and … Jaguars.

Pacing the Vikings was safety Harrison Smith (97 overall, best at his position). Following in his footsteps were defensive end Everson Griffen (92), cornerback Xavier Rhodes (92), wide receiver Stefon Diggs (90) and defensive tackle Linval Joseph (90).

The Vikings also had four players receive an 85 or better rating: safety Andrew Sendejo (85), running back Dalvin Cook (85), tight end Kyle Rudolph (86) and wide receiver Adam Thielen (88).

New quarterback Kirk Cousins? He checked in with an 82 — tied for the 15th-best quarterback. For those of you keeping score, that placed him ahead of Case Keenum (81), Sam Bradford (79) and Teddy Bridgewater (78). But not by much.
