What attracts them: Carbon dioxide • Lactic acid • Sweat • Body heat, dark colors • Dirty socks • Limburger cheese

What keeps them away: DEET • Picaridin

What kills them: Permethrin can be used on clothing, bed sheets, and camping gear to repel and kill mosquitoes, ticks and other pests.
