More West Coast Rain, Wind

Soaking rain, windswept at times, will reinvade the West Coast from Washingtonto northern California beginning early on Sunday.By Monday evening, soaking rain will spread widely along the coast fromWashington to near the San Francisco Bay area. Rainfall by daybreak on Mondaywill reach one to locally three inches, which could trigger minor flooding.

Coastal wind gusts will reach 40 to 50 mph.

Rain will also overspread Seattle, Portland and the I-5 corridor as a wholefrom the Canadian border to the Sacramento Valley. Here, rain amounts will varyfrom one-half to perhaps two inches through Sunday night.
