BIG SUNNIE Khloe Knudson, 5, of Andover, caught this 9 ¬Ω-inch sunfish on a night crawler on Lake Peltier in Lino Lakes while fishing with Grandpa Don Nyland of Blaine. "She could barely reel the fish in because it fought so hard!'' said Grandma Patty Nyland.

HIS LUNKER Mell Koenig, 80, of Alexandria finally caught his lunker walleye -- a 29.5-incher that weighed 9 1/2 pounds. He was fishing on Lake Le Homme Dieu in about 20 feet of water using a leach. It was released so another lucky angler can enjoy the catch.
