More perfect credit scores in tough economic times

Overall, credit scores have been pretty stable since 2005.

Today, FICO released a look at how FICO scores have shifted since 2005. The shifts are more nuanced than I expected, although a close look shows the recession increased the number of individuals at the top and bottom of the scoring range.

According to Rachel Bell, a director at FICO Labs, this is typical during economic downturns:
