More charges were filed Thursday in Hennepin County District Court against the man accused of stalking popular Current radio DJ Mary Lucia.

Patrick H. Kelly, 56, of Rockford, was charged with stalking Lucia since at least July 2014. He was initially charged in October 2014, but the harassment has continued, the charges say.

Months before he was charged the first time, Lucia had obtained a harassment restraining order against him. The order prohibited Kelly from being within two city blocks of Lucia and any direct contact, including social media.

He repeatedly violated the order and left unwanted items on her door, the new charges say.

The repeated contact has caused Lucia to feel unsafe at home, caused weight loss and made it difficult for her to perform her job, the charges say. She's been on leave from the Current since April.

Last week, Kelly tried to reach her from a LinkedIn account, the charges say. A few days later, she called 911 after her home video surveillance equipment caught him leaving flowers, a book and a letter, they say.

Lucia told police she was very fearful and "continues to be filled with dread" due to Kelly's actions, the charges say.

Kelly is jailed in lieu of $100,000 bail.
