More bed bug blues?

Some home sellers in New York city are making bed bug disclosure part of the sales contract, should it happen here?

Here's an icky thought (for sellers, anyway): You're selling your condo, but the buyer wants you to disclose whether you've seen signs of bed bugs in your unit, or in any others that you're aware of in the building. It's happening in New York City, which already has a law that requires landlords to give to give renters written notice before a lease is signed indicating whether the apartment being considered, or any other apartment in the building, has been infested within the last year, according to an article in the New York Times over the weekend. Here's a link to the story; www.nytimes.com/2010/10/17/realestate/17posting.html

Do you think that Minnesota landlords, or even home sellers should be required to make such a disclosure?
