Megadeth and Motörhead will share the love on Valetine's Day in the Twin Cities next year. The veteran metal giants' aptly named Gigantour is coming to the sorta-reopened Myth nightclub in Maplewood on Feb. 14. Oh man, there sure are going to be a lot of dudes getting in trouble with their girls that night. Click here for tickets ($43). Lacuna Coil and Volbeat will open.

Some other newly announced shows: Cracker and Camper Van Beethoven (both led by David Lowery) will pair up at the Fine Line on Jan. 7. Umphrey's McGee will return to First Ave for two nights Feb. 2-3, right after Dark Star Orchestra's Feb. 1 show there and a week before Moe.'s Feb. 15 main room gig (busy stretch for the jammers). Sage Francis hits the Triple Rock again on Feb. 17. Young the Giant will be at the Varsity Theater on Feb. 20. The Dropkick Murphy's usual pre-St. Patty's Day stop will be on Feb. 25 at First Ave.

Also, a reminder that tickets for the Feb. 19 reunion gig/fundraiser by Prince's Revolution bandmates at First Ave go on sale Monday. It's looking to be a relatively lively late-winter/spring. Thank God.
