LAKEVILLE

'Letters to God' at arts center

The musical "Children's Letters to God" will be presented Nov. 2-3 at the Lakeville Area Arts Center by the Homeward Bound Theatre Company.

Clever questions — "Dear God, Are you really invisible or is that just a trick?" and "Dear God, How come you did all the miracles in the old days and you don't do any now?" are examples — make up "Children's Letters to God," inspired by a bestselling book. Taken from the letters of young people, the musical follows the lives of five young friends as they voice common beliefs, questions and doubts often expressed most disarmingly by children.

Shows are set for 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, and 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3.

Tickets are $18 for adults and $15 for students and seniors. They are available online at www.lakevilleareaartscenter.com or at the Lakeville Area Arts Center, 20965 Holyoke Av. For additional information, call 952-985-4640.
