HOW POLL WAS CONDUCTED: The Star Tribune Minnesota Poll surveyed 800 Minnesota likely voters Oct. 20-22, 2014. Respondents were reached on both landlines (70 percent) and cell phones (30 percent). The poll has a margin of sampling error of 3.5 percentage points, plus or minus.
