July 15, 2011 at 12:46AM

The body of a woman who had been missing from a group home in Brooklyn Park was found Thursday in a pond near the home, police said.

Mosquito control workers discovered the body of Virginia Glauber, 72, face-down in the water near 63rd Avenue and Cavell Court N., police said.

On Wednesday, police asked for the public's help in finding Glauber, whom they described as a vulnerable adult.

She went missing that morning from the group home on the 6200 block of Yukon Avenue N.

Police described her as "emotionally challenged."

According to group home staff members, Glauber may have left the home between 1 and 7 a.m. Wednesday.
