A 16-year-old girl who was the subject of an AMBER Alert after authorities believe was abducted in Brooklyn Park has been found safe, and a suspect has been arrested, authorities said early Friday.

Authorities said Dolla Yang was seen being forced into a boxy blue four-door sedan in the 7700 block of Abbott Av. N. in Brooklyn Park. The vehicle was located in St. Paul late Thursday, but the search for Yang continued.

The state Bureau of Criminal Apprehension announced the cancellation of the alert shortly after midnight.

Yang was walking down the street with a niece and nephew when she was pushed into the back seat of the vehicle. The younger children went home and reported what they'd seen, said inspector Todd Milburn of the Brooklyn Park Police Department.

Later, independent witnesses corroborated what the niece and nephew had said, Milburn said.
