Minnetonka's Andrew Prochno commits to St. Cloud State

The senior defenseman's first season at SCSU will be 2011-12.

The St. Cloud State hockey team has landed a verbal commitment from Minnetonka senior defenseman Andrew Prochno. He is expected to play a season in the USHL with Waterloo before joining the Huskies in 2011-12.

Full disclosure: Prochno is a cousin of the Star Tribune's Minnesota Wild beat writer, Michael Russo.
