Minnesotans shine on 'Runway'

Minnesotans made it work on the first episode of Project Runway's sixth season.

Both Ra'mon-Lawrence Coleman, formerly of Minneapolis, and Christopher Straub of Shakopee watched the premier Thursday night at the St. Paul Hotel.

The crowd of 350, including Mayor Chris Coleman (no relation to the contestant), screeched when both locals placed in the top three for the challenge. Straub ultimately won with a red carpet dress that host/judge Heidi Klum said was the one of all the dresses that she "would probably wear."

Said Straub: "It feels good to finally have it out there."
