The Vikings finished their season 9-8 with a 16-3 victory over the Green Bay Packers at U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday. They closed on a five-game winning streak against an NFC North rival that rested many starters ahead of the playoffs. Quarterback J.J. McCarthy returned from the hairline fracture in his right hand to make his 10th start but left the game early in the third quarter after appearing to aggravate the hand injury. Justin Jefferson reached his 1,000-yard goal as the Vikings spent much of the game honoring safety Harrison Smith and fullback C.J. Ham, who are considering retirement.
