MINNEAPOLIS — Minnesota State Lottery officials have verified that a ticket presented at lottery headquarters is the winner of the state's share of the Powerball jackpot.

Lottery spokesman Debbie Hoffman says a news conference to introduce the winner is set for 2 p.m. Details about the winner will be announced then.

The winning ticket was sold in Anoka County. Two other tickets for the $448.4 million jackpot were sold in New Jersey.

Minnesota's winning ticket is worth a lump sum of $86 million before taxes, or $58.3 million after taxes. It's worth $149.4 million if the winner chooses the 30-year annuity option.

This is Minnesota's 22nd Powerball jackpot winner. The state record was a ticket sold in 2011 to Thomas and Kathleen Morris, of Burnsville, who chose the $123.6 million cash option.
