Country music star Keith Urban has a grandstand date at the Minnesota State Fair, officials announced Monday.
Urban’s “Raise ’Em Up” tour will be at the fair on the night of Aug. 28. Tickets range from $49 to $64, and all seats are reserved. Tickets go on sale Thursday starting at 11 a.m. through Etix at etix.com or by calling 1-800-514-3849. They can also be purchased at the State Fairgrounds ticket office.
Urban, who has been a judge on TV’s “American Idol,” last played in the Twin Cities in October 2011 at Target Center. It was the last night of the 47-year-old Aussie’s tour that year.
Along with being a Grammy winner, Urban was the Country Music Association’s Entertainer of the Year in 2006.
He has been married to Nicole Kidman, a fellow Australian, for nine years. They have two children and celebrated their wedding anniversary last week.
