The Wild re-signed restricted free agent Jason Zucker to a two-year contract Tuesday.
The 22-year-old winger had four goals in 21 games last season before missing the playoffs because of surgery to repair a tendon in his left quadriceps. He also scored eight goals in 22 games for the Iowa Wild of the AHL.
Zucker, the team's second-round pick in the 2010 NHL draft, has a two-way contract (different salary for AHL and NHL) for this season and a one-way deal for 2015-16.
Saints lose resumed game
The St. Paul Saints were shut out at Winnipeg 4-0 on Tuesday in the completion of a game that was stopped in the third inning because of rain June 14.
