Kenzie Neisen, a former New Prague High School standout who was a two-time state high school individual golf champion, captured her second consecutive Big 12 Conference individual title over the weekend in San Antonio.

Neisen, an Oklahoma State sophomore, is only the second golfer in Big 12 history to win back-to-back conference individual titles, joining former Cowgirl Annie Thurman-Young (2004-05).

Neisen had a 6-under-par 66 in the final round, tying her for the best round in Big 12 championship history. She had a 9-under 207 for the weekend, breaking the previous Big 12 championship record by a stroke.

Neisen and Oklahoma State, which captured the team championship, will compete next in NCAA regionals May 5-7 in Shoal Creek, Ala.
