Minnesota's Waiting Child

Omari, 15, is an imaginative, playful, charismatic, helpful and quirky teen. He is also thoughtful and cares deeply about those close to him. Omari likes to be active and enjoys going to movies, roller-skating, bowling, playing sports and going to the Mall of America. He loves music of all types and likes to sing and dance. The feeling of belonging is important to Omari and involvement in groups and church is significant to him. Omari would like to join a family that is "funny, exciting, loving, fun, accepting, and has children." He would also enjoy having pets such as cats and dogs. While these things are important to Omari, what he wants more than anything is a loving family that will "accept me as I am." Following adoption, Omari would need to maintain regular contact with his sister and his grandfather, with whom he has a very close relationship.
