Jacob, 13, has a nice smile and enjoys interacting with others. He likes riding his bike, playing football, tennis and basketball, listening to music and playing with his toys (cars and action figures). He has a wonderful imagination and can entertain himself for short periods of time. Jacob would like to live in the Twin Cities or a larger city. He says that he would like to have siblings, but he would do best as the youngest child in the home. Jacob's primary concern is wanting to be accepted as a part of a family. He needs parents who are able to provide guidance, direction, consistency and patience. It is also important that they have a sense of humor, are empathetic and calm.

To learn more about Jacob, contact Minnesota Adoption Resource Network (MARN) at 612-861-7115. If you do not have a home study and are wondering how to start your adoption process, visit the MARN website at www.mnadopt.org/informationpacket.html.

FILE -- A rent deposit slot at an apartment complex in Tucker, Ga., on July 21, 2020. As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
