Minnesota's Waiting Child: Omari is playful and thoughtful

Omari, 17, is an imaginative, playful, charismatic, helpful and quirky teen. He is also thoughtful and empathetic. He likes to be active and enjoys going to movies, roller skating, bowling and going to the Mall of America. He listens to pop music and enjoys singing and dancing. He likes going to church, being involved in groups and feeling like he belongs. As Omari is getting older, he is becoming less hopeful about adoption but still desires to be part of a family. Omari will need structure and guidance as he enters adulthood and begins to manage some responsibilities with his older age.
