Darn.

We have to go back.

Less than a week from returning from a season opener vs. Louisville held in Puerto Rico, Minnesota announced it would be heading back next year around this time.

The Gophers are scheduled to play in the eight-team Puerto Rico Tip-Off in San Juan on Nov. 19-22 of 2015. The team was last there in 2010 -- when Tubby Smith was at the helm -- and won the tournament, beating Western Kentucky, North Carolina and West Virginia in the process.

Joining Minnesota in 2015 will be Butler, Miami, Mississippi State, Utah, Temple and Texas Tech, where Smith now coaches.

The Gophers' played this year's matchup on the other side of the island, on U.S. Coast Guard Station Borinquen in Aguadilla.
