Annandale area: Clearwater Lake, Cedar Lake and Sugar Lake are producing walleyes, and the lakes' weed lines are producing northern pike and bass. Sunfish are being caught on Lake Sylvia, Lake John and Granite Lake, while a few crappies are being taken from French Lake and Pleasant Lake.

Bemidji area: Most of the lakes in the area have seen good bass fishing, and northern pike have remained active near the deep weed lines. Muskie fishing has continued to improve recently, but walleyes have proved to be a little more elusive because they are scattered at various depths. Crappies are biting early and late in the day.

Hennepin County: Northern pike and walleye action has been slow on Lake Minnetonka. Some walleyes are being caught along the weed lines and a few northern pike are being found suspended on the deep weed lines here. But the sunfish and largemouth bass have been good. Medicine Lake, like Lake Minnetonka, is producing sunfish around the weeds.

Lindstrom area: Anglers are having success catching walleyes on the weed lines and rocks of Chisago Lake, Green Lake, North Center Lake and South Center Lake. Crappies and sunfish are being found on the weed lines of Chisago Lake, North Lindstrom and South Lindstrom lakes and North Center and South Center lakes.

Prior Lake area: Anglers are finding sunfish and walleyes on Prior Lake and Spring Lake. Prior Lake is also producing a good bass bite during low-light times, and Fish Lake is also producing walleyes. The bays on Lake O'Dowd are producing a solid bass bite, while some walleyes are being caught around the island on Lake O'Dowd during low-light times.

Willmar area: Good panfish action is being reported on most area lakes. Good catches of sunfish and bass are coming from Diamond, Eagle, Games, Andrew and Florida lakes. Anglers are catching largemouth and smallmouth bass in shallow water on Green Lake. Anglers are having some walleye success in depths of 25 to 35 feet on Green Lake.
