A Minneapolis woman died Saturday in a collision with a semitrailer truck north of Wadena, Minn., one of two fatal crashes on major Minnesota highways Saturday morning.

According to the State Patrol, Jozi Szathmary, 37, was headed north in a Ford Explorer on Hwy. 71 when she crossed the center line, hitting a southbound truck head-on. The truck's driver, a 63-year-old man from Shenandoah, Iowa, was not hurt in the crash, which happened about 11:25 a.m.

The other fatal crash happened about 8:20 a.m. on Interstate 90 west of Stewartville in Olmsted County, in southeastern Minnesota.

According to the State Patrol, an eastbound 1999 Chevrolet Lumina attempted to pass a 1993 Dodge Dakota when the car clipped the truck's rear end. The Dodge went into the ditch and rolled.

Lynn E. Webber, of Adams, Minn., the Dodge's 76-year-old driver, was taken to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, where he was declared dead.

The Lumina's driver, a 28-year-old woman from Peterson, Minn., was not hurt.
